Skyscraper Topples Over in China

An underconstruction skyscraper in Shanghai, China topples over. The entire structure is intact and appears that the foundation was held by number of iron pilings which gave way. From the pictures it looks as if they were held down to the ground by pins.

Photos supposedly of the recent A330 Air France Plane Crash

Many of us have seen these pictures supposedly of the recent A330 Air France Plane crash incident of 1-Jun-2009. The big question is are they real?
These photos were claimed to have been found in a digital Casio Z750, amidst the remains in Serra do Cachimbo. Although the camera was destroyed, the Memory Stick was recovered.
Just think about it. Not many things were found from the debris of the fatal crash. So it is highly unlikely that these are actual pictures taken during that crash.
The same pictures were also circulated during the Gol Airlines Flight 1907 after mid-air collision in 2006.
It is now accepted that these pictures are hoax and not from any real plane crash. Instead these are sequences from a TV series named 'Lost'. Read the details at About.com. The same is reproduced here ...
Analysis of the Hoax:
The images above are video captures from the pilot episodes of the ABC television series Lost (note the handcuffs worn by the woman pictured on the left, a character recognizable to viewers of the series as Kate Austen, played by actress Evangeline Lilly). Similar images can be seen in video trailers for the series.
The Brazilian airliner accident referenced in the email actually happened. Gol Airlines Flight 1907 from Manaus to Brasilia went down in the Amazon jungle after the Boeing 737-800 collided with a smaller private jet on September 29, 2006. None of the 154 passengers and crew survived the estimated 300 mph impact when the aircraft struck the ground. At that speed it's unlikely that a digital camera loosed in the passenger cabin would have fared any better than its owner.
No one named Paulo Muller was reported among the victims of the crash. This person was supposedly the owner of the camera that took these pictures.

A modern day version of Sound of Music
A modern day version of Sound of Music at Central Station, Antwerp Belgium. Unlike the original one which was set amongst the hills of Austria, this one is performed at the busy Central Station at Antwerp Belgium.
The dance is very well choreograped. Initially people look on disapprovingly, a man starts dancing and very soon others join in one by one. A few minutes later you see a large number of people are dance...
More than 200 dancers were performing their version of "Do Re Mi", in the Central Station of Antwerp. with just 2 rehearsals they created this amazing stunt! Those 4 fantastic minutes started the 23 of march 2009, 08:00 AM. It is a promotion stunt for a Belgian television program, where they are looking for someone to play the leading role, in the musical of "The Sound of Music".

The coming of Nano
Tata Motors's plant in Pantnagar is all set to roll out Nano, the 4-seater, Rs 100,000 (about $2000, going by March Rupee-Dollar rates) super-cheap car, for the masses.
In an announcement Tata Motors said that it would launch its Nano on March 23 and accept bookings from the second week of April.
Car dealers say that there is a lot of craze for the small car with people regularly visiting them in an attempt to buy the car in the first lot.
